We had a visit from Imran Kotwal today. Imran talked to all of our children about Ramadan and Eid celebrations. He talked about fasting, prayer and traditions and shared a song and animated story . Thank you Imran and Happy Eid to all of our families during the Easter holiday.
Thanks to Friends of Pendle for organising our annual Bunny Run. The children loved every minute and did brilliantly running around the cricket pitch. Thanks to parents for your support , cheering them on, and for collecting sponsors to raise funds for school.

A group of our Year 6 children took part in the Johnson Matthey Catalyst final on Tuesday 12th March. They took part in a range of challenges, working collaboratively as a team, and did brilliantly, coming 3rd out of 8 schools. Well done Pendle !
Our choir performed beautifully at the Let's Go Sing event at King George's Hall, Blackburn, on Tuesday 12th March. What an amazing evening enjoyed by children, staff and parents. Well done to everyone involved !
Our Reception parents , grandparents and other family members enjoyed a ' Stay and Play' session with their children today. The children and adults loved every minute - listening to a story, painting, construction, water play and all the other amazing things that go on in our EYFS classrooms.
What an amazing World Book day we had today . Everyone enjoyed dressing up as book characters and trying to work out the mystery voices of the story tellers. We had Where's Wally , Little Red Riding Hood, Harry Potter, The Cat in the Hat , Millionaire Boy, Gruffalo and lots more ! Thankyou to parents for supporting your children with costumes - they all looked fantastic !
Our girls' football team represented Accrington Stanley in the North West Regional Football Final at the Prairie Sports Village, Burnley. They had an amazing day, playing brilliantly in their matches and enjoying the coaching sessions, mini golf and lunchtime disco! Thankyou to Mr Taylor for his hard work with the team.
