Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Thank you to everyone who popped into school today to see how we work. Well done Year 6 children who showed everyone around you were brilliant ambassadors for us and to all the pupils of Pendle, your behaviour and manners were fantastic as usual. There was lots of positive feedback from the visitors.
During the week beginning 16th October we will be focusing on Harvest during our assemblies, culminating in a special assembly for the children on Friday 20th October. In the spirit of Harvest, donations of non-perishable goods (e.g. ns, dried pasta, crackers etc.) would be most welcomed, which will be donated to our local Foodbank. Ribble Valley Foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. It was opened in July 2013 and last year distributed food to 1560 people in crisis need in the Ribble Valley. We would be delighted if you could send any donations in with your child on the morning of Friday 20th October. They will be collected by a representative from the charity during the day. Many thanks for your continued support.
