R.E. (work set by Mrs Hind)

Last week we learnt about the Puja tray that the Hindus use at home when praying.

Can you recall what the 5 senses are that we have. (Sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste). All of these are used when the Hindus pray.

Explore a piece of chocolate with all your senses. Think about what you feel, hear, taste, touch and smell. Do you think the experience is better if you use all your senses?

Watch the clip about Hindus.

Charlie and Blue Hear all about Hindu Worship - TrueTube

Make a list for the 5 senses that the Hindu people will experience when they are worshipping. What can they hear, see, taste, touch and smell?

Please draw the items or print out in black and white.

To support your child with their maths in school we use base 10, counter/cubes, it would be beneficial if your child could use button/pasta/small toys/raisins anything you have available that your child can use to count with or represent 10's and 1's 10p's and 1p's would be ideal if you have any to help with place value work.
