Last week of the School Year

I would like to thank all my colleagues ( including you the parents) for such hard work, support and co operation in your child's learning journey over what has been an incredibly difficult year for all.

This week we will be sending home work daily so your child does not too have to much to carry home on Friday.Reading books will be collected in for the Summer Holidays.

Have a well deserved break and enjoy whatever you will be doing!

Good afternoon

My name is Rebecca Hewitt and I am the library officer at Clitheroe Library. Every year Lancashire libraries run a summer reading challenge to encourage our children to continue reading over the summer holidays. Normally, I would offer a library visit or come into school to talk to the children but this year is very different. Instead we have made a short video explaining our challenge and would be really grateful if you would consider showing it to your child and encourage your child to come to the library to sign up for a library card and to accept our challenge. The film is very short but is a good starting point to begin a conversation about the library and what we can offer.
