Make reindeer food with your child .Mix porridge oats ( or any cereal you have) with glitter. Fill the brown pot with the mixture. Stick two wobbly eyes on the pot. Cut out two antlers and stick onto the pot. After you have made the reindeer food, talk about what you need then the step by step process encouraging the use of 'bossy ' verbs at the beginning of each instructione.g. Put, Pour, Cut, Stick etc. Talk about the process then ask your child to write instructions ,

Write the instructions in the correct sequence numbering each instruction.

1. Mix a cup of oats with a spoon of glitter.
