Week 6

The children made me feel so proud during our class assembly. They their loud voices to be super brave and say their special sentence to our grown ups and siblings, as well as an entertaining innovation of the Enormous Turnip! Well Done RZ! 🌟💜

Our PRSHE Block of Learning this term is Rights and Responsibilities... where we focussed on what we can do to look after our planet. We discussed how recycling is an important way to make sure things are not wasted, and did lots of junk modelling to make new things out of old boxes and rubbish!

After our spring walk, we made blossom trees! As always, painting our own hands is very exciting to 4 & 5 year olds! We spoke about the different shades of pink we may find on a blossom tree.

We made necklaces in the style of African tribe necklaces. We looked closely at the bright colours and patterns.

We have innovated the story of Handa’s Surprise by choosing our own animals for Handa to meet on her journey.

We have been talking about how food can be delivered around the world, and how this has changed over time.
