Ramadan! We enjoyed learning about the Islam month of Ramadan.
We planted turnip seeds to try and grow our own enormous turnip! We explored what happens when we mix vinegar or baking soda with red cabbage cooking water. We watched the bubbles and saw the colours change.
We have been adding 1 and 2 more to numbers within 10.
We’ve created maps to show the journey from Handa’s village to Akeyo’s village.
Handa’s Surprise! We have been enjoying the story of Handa’s Surprise. We all had a go at handing out our link by balancing it in a basket on our head like Handa in the story. This was very tricky!
