We had an inspirational visit from the science engineer, Kate Ashley who works at Johnson Mathey. The company works hard to keep our environment clean. Kate gave us a challenge to make a plasticine boat that would float and she showed us a fantastic investigation with bicarbonate of soda and vinegar!
One of these catalyst pellets if unfolded would be the same size as three football pitches!
