We went outside around the school grounds to look for flowers. We took photographs with the iPads. We then explored lilies in the classroom. We studied the various parts and and drew a labelled diagram in our books.
We found out about Seed dispersal. We went on a seed hunt in the wildlife garden.
We are growing chives in pairs. We have carefully researched and considered what plants need to grow.
We have set up an investigation to observe what happens when we deprive a plant of one of its requirements. We had some amazing ideas. Some of us covered the leaves, some removed all the leaves, whilst others removed the soil and placed the roots in water to name but a few.
