Unwrapping - the excitement was amazing!
It`s someone trapped in the ice!
How can we get our Lego person out as quickly as possible?
Put our hands around the ice.
Put it on the radiator.
Put it in the sun.
Pour hot water over it.
Smash it.
We also tested putting the frozen person in the shade outside / in the classroom / in the fridge.
Biggest problem was leaving them alone in the classroom with Mrs Hind whilst it was breaktime!
Here we are trying to get them out - smashing them and pouring hot water on were the fastest ways although salt helped to melt the ice quicker.
Finally we watched a clip of an outstanding ice sculptor at work.
Outdoor learning - using our senses of touch, sight, hearing and smell in our school grounds.
