The Year 1 children enjoyed a visit to St. Mary’s Church. Patricia taught us all about baptism.
The Reception children enjoyed a visit to St. Mary's Church. Patricia explained to us all why the Church is a special place for Christians. Merle, who has attended St. Mary's since she was just 4 years old, explained why the church is special to her. We also discussed special symbols and we went looking for crosses. She also lit a candle, explaining that it symbolises the light and guidance of Jesus.
We have been talking about places that are special to us.
