Mr. Grinling sent us a present. We thought of adjectives to describe it. 🐟
We enjoyed listening to the story of "The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch." We were curious as to why the seagulls didn't like the mustard sandwiches, so we tried them! The children used some excellent adjectives to describe them: hideous, revolting, horrible, and disgusting! After that, we wrote some instructions for Mr. Grinling.
Welcome aboard the 1RL aeroplane! What can you see out of the aeroplane window?
We enjoyed innovating the story of "The Snail and the Whale."
We have been retelling the story of “The Snail and the Whale.”
The children are enjoying showing the rest of the class pictures from their trips. To encourage lots of discussion, we have displayed them in our ice cream parlour. Thank you for sending them!
We shared the story of “What the Ladybird Heard at the Seaside.” Using some excellent vocabulary, we helped the ladybird in describing the setting.
What a lovely way to start the half term. The children have been very excited about our new topic, "Happy Holidays." There have been a lot of enthusiastic, happy, and busy children in our classroom!
