8 x table recap starter - Quick fire questions and recall.
Division using a number line.
We’ve had an amazing morning taking part in National Numeracy Day! We’ve spent the morning doing number based activities outside and in the classroom. We even went outside to work with 1RL as ‘Mini Teachers’!
National Numeracy Day - We really enjoyed using our whiteboard pens on the table to complete halving diagrams! We partitioned the numbers to derive the halves of even numbers up to 100.
National Numeracy Day - Outdoor Addition and Subtraction to 100 Treasure Hunt. We did mental calculations, used jottings when necessary and we took the Base 10 outside too if we wanted to use it.
We’ve been really busy this week playing in a TTRS tournament against another primary school, another class and even between the boys and girls in 3K!
