Stone Age to Iron Age
Today we investigated the Stone Age settlement of Skara Brae. we found it so interesting to look at the houses that are over 5000 years old, and realise they still had 'home comforts' such as beds, shelves and even storage boxes! Then we made our own information fact sheets to share with KS2
This half term's history topic covers Prehistoric Britain, from the Stone Age to the Iron Age - we have s much to learn!!!
We started by looking at a timeline of events we already know such as the World Wars and the Romans, then slotted in The Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age.
We also did an outdoor hunt for pieces of Stone Age evidence, deciding whether they were primary or secondary sources
