Week 3

We looked at the Easter story. We discussed the story and the sacrifices of those involved for others. We illustrated part of the story and described the sacrifice made. We were all involved in a very thoughtful discussion. It was lovely to hear the children’s opinions and thoughts. The children showed great enthusiasm and asked some very inquisitive questions too! Well done!

World Book Day 2019 📚 

Week 1

This week we thought about the meaning of the word sacrifice. We discovered it means to give up something valued for the sake of others considerations. We discussed and listed things in our lives we may sacrifice. We looked at the 2019 Red Nose Day appeal and the well publicised Mount Kilimanjaro climb. We discussed the sacrifices of those involved to enable them to take part and raise funds for the charity.
