Spring 2

Some children thought they should wrap it up and leave it outside in the sun! One group used their hands to melt it (although this took quite a long time!) Others thought to use the zip lock bags and water! One group poured the water into the bowl with the chocolate whilst the other group kept them both separate. We had lots of fun choosing what materials to use and testing them out. We found the melted chocolate squishy and soft!

Oh Boris! Miss Cluck told 1D you needed help melting your Easter chocolate!

We investigated which material was best to wrap sandwiches in for Boris the bear! He was going for a picnic and the weather was forecast rain! We carried out a fair test and found out that tinfoil kept the rain away from his sandwiches.

We created our very own weather forecast!

Where is the windiest place in school? We made wind socks to help us find this out!

Our topic this term is Weather. We have explored the weather this week by completing a chart and designing our own weather symbols. We used a thermometer and a rain gauge to help us. We reached 20mm of rain!
