As geographers we put on our geography glasses and looked carefully at the landscapes around us and how we used them We identified some of the physical and human features that are familiar to us.
As geographers, this afternoon we identified and then mapped the features of our school grounds. We then compared the maps we created against online maps ana satellite images. We also used our fieldwork and observational skills to study the geography of our school and its grounds focusing on the key human and physical features of the surrounding environment.
Our fieldwork and observational skills were put to use this afternoon. We identified the key human and physical features of our surrounding environment. We observed the street furniture on our streets and monitored how the streets were being used, collecting data about things we felt were not quite as they should be.
