We have began to explore this wonderfully, illustrated, wordless book.

A little girl draws a magic door on her bedroom wall and goes on a magical journey of magic and adventure.

This half term we will be looking at Information Texts.

Our success criteria that we will be focussing on will be:

Titles
Introduction
Sub-headings
Paragraphs
Written in the present tense and third person
To use of punctuation
To use technical vocabulary
To include a range of facts
Labelled diagrams
To finish with a short conclusion / contact information

We have begun to create our own information leaflets about the River Ribble.
