This week we are independently creating our own information text. We are creating a leaflet about Pendle Primary School.
We are carefully thinking about and trying to include all of the features listed on our Success Criteria for an Information Text.

We are studying information texts. We are linking this to our current Geography 'River' topic.
We looked at the course of the River Hodder on Google Maps and recreated this in our leaflet.
We researched River Wildlife and then created a page in our leaflet dedicated to this

We started the week by finding out about the features of information texts and finding these in a range of leaflets.
W/C 08.03.21
We started to explore this exquisitely illustrated, wordless book. An ordinary girl draws a magic door on her bedroom wall and escapes on an extraordinary journey of magic and adventure.
We created our own magical world behind a red door and displayed these on the LKS2 corridor.
