This half term the children have been exploring wheels and axles.
The children have looked at arrange of vehicles considering the types of wheels and axles they have got.
The children practiced using different axle holders - pegs, cotton reels, straws and v shaped card.
Once the children designed their moon buggies, they cut the dowel for the axle and used their choice of axle holder to attach them to the chassis. The children were very proud of their final pieces.
