Rocks
This term we are investigating rocks.
We started with some pre-learning assessments. Some of us are very knowledgeable about rocks already!
Then we tried to sort and classify our rocks before we experiment later this half term.
This week we have been experimenting with a range of rocks. We tried to find the most durable by scratching each rock. We used a tank of water to investigate which rocks float and sink. We tested the rocks to see which ones were permeable and which were impermeable.
This week we have been investigating soil in a creative way. We used food types to represent the different layers.
