The children have been identifying key facts about polar bears and making notes.

The children have been ‘cheerleading’, segmenting the words and blending them.

The children thought about how the boy and the duck were feeling at the beginning and the end of the book.

The children enjoyed creating the duck from our story. They then wrote noun phrases to describe the duck.

The children have been learning about adverbs. They completed a range of actions using different adverbs. Shout loudly; walk slowly.

The children have been posing question to find out what animal their partner had chosen. Does it have scales? Does it have four legs?
