Seasonal Changes
September - We went on an observational tree walk to identify five trees. We observed their leaves and seeds.
October - We went to observe any differences between our five trees and see how they had changed. We noticed that the leaves were changing colour and that most of the seeds had been dispersed.
December - We went to observe any changes that have occurred to the five trees. We notice that all the leaves had fallen off all the trees excepts the holly tree.
The children went to observer any changes on the five focus trees. There was lots of changes starting to appear. HH - the willow has got buds. NE - there are catkins on the willow tree. SM - the oak tree has got some buds growing. The children then collected different items to make nature pictures.
