Summer 2 - Living Things
We have thought of different ways to classify biscuits to start our Science topic.
We have also researched different animal groups.
Summer 1 - Human Life Cycles
We have enjoyed making our own factual PowerPoint presentations about the 'Human Life Cycle'.
From baby to child
Spring 2 - Light
We have been investigating how we can see objects behind us.
We had lots of fun finding out about how light travels and explaining why we cannot see objects in the dark.
Spring 1 - The Circulatory System
We have measured how our heart rates change with different types of exercise.
We have looked at the components of blood and we have enjoyed making our own blood bottles.
Autumn 2 - Materials
We enjoyed testing our cup holders.
We have had fun designing and making a sleeve for a hot drink. Our sleeve has to be a good thermal insulator.
We want hot drinks but not hot hands!
We have had fun finding out what materials will stretch.
Autumn 1 - Earth and Space
We have had fun flying our homemade rockets!

Mobile Planetarium Visit
As part of our Science topic on Earth and Space, we enjoyed a visit from a mobile planetarium. Once inside, we went on an amazing 3D space journey through the planets and our solar system.
