Thursday 21st March - the whole school celebrated the Hindu Holi Festival.
Holi is a festival of of colours. It marks the end of the winter and welcomes Spring .
The colours represent new beginnings.
In class we created colourful Holi posters.
One our highlights of the day was learning to Bollywood dance!
This half term we have been looking and talking about sacrifices,in particular the sacrifices that were made in the Easter Story.
We have looked at the importance of charities and created posters and fact files of charities we know.
We have been looking at Judaism this half term.
