Gift giving
A new half term, a new R.E. Unit! This term we will be looking at Christianity and today we investigated gift giving through circle time and drama.
Today we looked at how Jewish people celebrate Hanukah with an 8 day long celebration. They give presents, eat lovely food and play a game called 'Dredel' Then some of us made our own Dredel paper chains!
This week in R.E. we have been continuing our topic on celebrations and looking at the Jewish celebration of Hanukah. Some children made beautiful menorahs and others wrote about the story itself. I am so proud of how hard they all worked!
