Me and My Relationships block of learning - Autumn 1:
We had a circle time session about what we enjoy doing with our friends. We listened to the Toy Story song ‘You’ve got a friend in me’, we also listened to a friendship song about Harold the giraffe. We identified key words and phrases that are good qualities to have as a friend, here are some: kind, caring, loyal, a good listener, cheer some one up, laugh.
We worked together as a group in order to build a tower. We had to listen to instructions, share, turn take and cooperate which are all important skills.
Some lovely poems about friendship shared by some Year 4 children. We really enjoyed listening to them.
We talked about people who are special to us. Look at our wonderful balloons to share the special people in our lives.
