Friday 27th September PHSCE charity day and Macmillan coffee morning
The charity we looked at in 3K was Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
We discussed the excellent work of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We found out all about the hospital and discovered the fantastic work they do.
We were then involved in a range of activities throughout the themed day. We discovered that JM Barrie the author of Peter Pan left the rights of his fairytale to the London hospital before his death in 1937. We created posters, read some of JM Barrie's Peter Pan story and wrote messages in bottles from Neverland to tell people about the hospital and promote the good work they do.
