Today we enjoyed having a musical discussion about what music actually means to us. We talked about where we listen to it, how it makes us feel and also about our favourite bands and singers. Look for our work on display in school!
Our genre for this half term is 'rock' and we LOVE IT!! So far we have begun to learn the song 'Livin' On A Prayer' by Bon Jovi. Today we enjoyed listening and appraising Deep Purple's 'Smoke on the Water', but it really split the class in half! Half of the class really enjoyed this piece as they loved the repeating tune whilst the other half didn't enjoy the piece because they thought it was too simplistic. What do you think about it?
