Mosaics
We created two printing blocks using cardboard, foam and string. We then used paint to print a repeated pattern using only two colours.
This week we used little cut up coloured squares to design our own mosaic.
We looked at a Roman mosaic which appeared to be a ‘Beware of the Dog’ sign. We then designed our own using a grid.
We began by researching the work of Gaudi. We learned about the Trencadis technique which Gaudi used in his mosaics.
