Mental Health Awareness Week

In 3K we know the importance of Mental Health.

A brilliant document with top tips on connecting with nature to improve mental health.

We loved exploring the Wildlife Garden. We went on a Scavenger Hunt, sketched, listed things identified with our senses. We had so much fun and felt so happy!

Mindfulness - We closed our eyes and thought about a happy place. We thought about what we could see, hear, taste and smell.

We 'planted' tulips on the LKS2 corridor for Mental Health Awareness Week. We listened to sounds of nature whilst shading, it was very relaxing!

After lunch each day we spend a few minutes doing Mindfulness colouring. It's a great way to settle down, relax and get ready for our afternoon activities.

We had a great time in the Calm Corner taking part in a nature themed treasure hunt.

We enjoyed planting sunflower seeds. We discovered growing plants is good for mental health.
