Symmetrical Patterns investigation

We made winter trees using a 1m strip of paper, folding into half, thirds and quarters to make the different sized boughs

We have been studying time, learning to match analogue and digital times for o'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to the hour times.

Today we looked at using known addition facts. We had blocks of differing amounts (2p and 1p) and had to make a dog totalling exactly 25p! On each picture can you tell which block colour was worth 2p and which was worth 1p?
