In are second science lesson this term, the children began to plan their own experiment around how different surfaces affect the speed at which an object moves. The children used spinning tops against different surfaces to test how long the spinning top would spin for. The children recorded their results in their own results table and were able to discuss and decide the control, independent and dependent variables.
