History
This half term we have been learning about the seaside in the past. We found out about the bathing machines and how they used to be taken out into the sea for a swim. The children enjoyed learning about Punch and Judy shows. They created their own puppets and show.

We have been thinking about what an explorer is. HJ - someone who travels around the world to see new places. Four explorers came in to our class, the children discussed what they might need if they were explorers.
We have been exploring our space station.
We have been learning about World War 1 and the significance of this year for the centenary of the end of war. To commemorate the Remembrance Day we have made poppies which will create a large installation, alongside all the other classes outside school.
