Great Fire of London themed day
We began our 'Great Fire of London' topic by asking ourselves: 'What is history?'
We discovered that within history, we will learn about events that happened in the past. To help us understand a little more, we created a human timeline. We thought about our birthdays, the day we were born and also the year we are currently in.
Before Miss DeRosa told us about our new topic, we moved around the tables and tried to guess what the artefacts could be! We wrote our ideas on our whiteboards. As we move through this unit, we will be finding out what each artefact is and how it was used.
Afterwards, we slotted in '1666' as that is when the Great Fire happened.
