Mrs Nunns read the book she enjoyed reading to her daughter when she was a child
Mrs Hailwood read an old favorite she used to read to her children and now reads to her grandchildren
We had a cup of chocolate milk with a biscuit to make it feel like we were having a bedtime story
We made monster sized monster bookmarks for our favourite books
We made snowflakes then wrote instructions incorporating all the features we have been learning about
We found a pile of instructions that were all muddled up ( naughty classroom toys!) We looked for the title then a list of what we needed.After finding our resources we had to read all the instructions to find how to start. We made the tree as we worked out which instruction came next. Finally when our tree decorations were finished, we ordered a set of instructions working in small groups.
