We learnt about the amount of sugar in a 50g portion in a range of breakfast cereals.
The children began by putting the breakfast cereals in rank order - the healthiest was placed at the top and the least healthy cereal at the bottom.
We then looked at the sugar content in each breakfast cereal.
In weetabix there is half a teaspoon of sugar in a portion but there is 5 teaspoons in a portion of coco pops! In a day, a child should have less than 6 teaspoons of sugar!
