Why should we eat well and look after our teeth?

 

During today's Blocked Learning we have been finding out about:

 

What we can do to keep healthy.

Why we need to wash our hands.

Why we need to brush our teeth.

How germs are spread and how they can affect our health.

The differences between healthy and unhealthy choices.

How mental wellbeing is a normal part of daily life, in the same way as physical health.

 

 

 

To complete our blocked learning day we updated our new learning in purple pen in our PRSHE folders.

We watched a 1Decision video to find out about why we need to brush our teeth.

We considered a healthy balanced meal, we drew and labelled the foods we selected.

Start of the Afternoon activity - Mindfulness colouring.

We considered what humans need to stay healthy. We recorded our ideas in our Reflection Journals.

We found about good hygiene and the correct way to wash our hands. We wrote a set of instructions on how to do this effectively.

Healthy bodies and healthy minds - we went outside to enjoy some physical activity in the sunshine. We know these type of activities are good for our mental health.
