Autumn 2 Escher
Today we used our knowledge of creating shape and tone to recreate 'Escher's Eye'.
Today we began our first art topic on 'Escher'. We talked about how there are different grades of pencil and how these can be used. We also looked at how to hatch and cross hatch to create shading. We then had the opportunity to look at a real animal skull, study it and sketch it, thinking of the form and shading to make it look 3D.
