Week 5
This week we have been investigating pitch. We had fun with our string oboe and our straw clarinets!

Week 4
This week we have been testing vibrations. We used a range of materials and instruments to make sound. We had great fun and we were very loud! Sorry Mr Dibb and Mrs Kennerley!

Week 3
This week we have been learning about how sound travels. We made a human sound wave.
We played instruments to feel the vibrations and we tested the volume of a sound using a data logger. Mrs Schofield can be as loud as a power saw, 110dB!
Week 2
This week we thought about our new topic. We tried to think how sounds are made, how they travel and how we can hear them. We completed a KWHL grid and played sound games.
