Anti Bullying afternoon

We started the afternoon by watching ‘Andy and the Odd Socks’ perform ‘Choose Respect’, 

this is the official song for Anti Bullying week 2018.The children really enjoyed singing along!

We found that the ‘Anti Bulling Alliance’ research concludes that bullying is a behaviour choice. We discussed their findings and what actions and behaviours they consider bullying to be. 

We then sat in a circle and passed a ball of wool to one another giving compliments as we did so. We created an amazing friendship web!

We then examined LS Lowrys ‘The Fight’ and recreated this using charcoal. The children really enjoyed using this medium and used a range of smudging and blending techniques.
