Autumn 2

We are studying Christianity this half term in our RE lessons. We will be finding out why Christians believe that Jesus was a very special baby.

We began this unit of work by thinking about what babies need. In small groups, the children placed their choices in hierarchical order. They then explained their reason for their choice at the top! It was interesting to see that the majority of the groups thought that love was the most essential thing that a baby needs.

The children enjoy retelling the Christmas story:

We drew the nativity and discussed who we thought the most important person was in the Christmas story.
