What is Cave Art? We thought carefully about why Stone Age people drew people, animals and weapons. Was it part of a hunting ritual? Or was it for entertainment? Perhaps to record a successful hunt? 3K had lots of super ideas.
We looked at cave paintings found from over 9,000 years ago.
Stone Age people would have used charcoal, chalk, grinded bones and twigs to draw.
We pretended to be in a cave and some of us used the walls to fire our imaginations!
