Autumn 2 Christianity
Today we thought about the best gift we had ever received and also given. This is leading up to the Three Kings gifts in the Nativity Story.
The children came up with lots of ideas that cost money. We then thought about gifts we could make and finally gifts such as love that you can give all the time.
The children had to mime to their partner a gift that they had received.
Their miming was fantastic - a dinosaur key ring, remote control car, a horse, train, baby doll, nerf gun, dolls house, a camera and a chess set.
This term we are going to be studying Christianity.
To begin with we will consider different emotions then link this to how we receive and give gifts. During December our learning will cover the Nativity Story.
Today we read the story Colour Monster. After discussing different feelings the children coloured monsters and wrote about their own feelings.
