Who has the most? Who has the least? The children compared their bears or cubes to find out who had the most/least.

Finding one more and one less using cubes.

The children have been using different objects to represent the numbers.

The children have been counting forwards and backwards. Then they completed the missing numbers on the number line.

The children have been finding out about 2D and 3D shapes. First they sorted a selection of shapes into 2D and 3D. Then the children made pictures using the shapes. Can you tell what they are?

The children have been identifying which numbers in the subtraction number sentences are the whole and the parts.

The children have been learning about subtraction by taking away. First they they counted out their cubes then they counted how many they needed to take away. Finally the counted the cubes to find out how many cubes were left.
