Autumn 1 Survival and Growth
Today we investigated whether older people have bigger hands. We measured our own hands and then visited year 6 where we measured theirs. We collated the results and then interpreted them.
Ordering in importance what we think we need to survive. Which do you think comes first?!
It's always nice at the start of a new term to take stock of our surroundings and look at any seasonal change. We investigated our school grounds and in particular the bramble bushes. We then picked some blackberries and did an observational drawing. After that we carefully picked each seed off with a toothpick!
