Autumn 1 Drawing
Showcasing the skills we have learnt this term by drawing our new character in the style of ‘Quentin Blake’.
We enjoyed looking at the work of Quentin Blake and the skills he uses. We then drew the characters and objects ourselves.
Extending patterns and incorporating shading.
First we explored light and dark using HB and B pencils, before moving to coloured pencils. We thought about how pressing on harder helps to create a darker shade.
