This half term we will be studying 'The United Kingdom - Countries and Capital Cities'.
Once the children's messy maps were completed they labled the four countries and their capital cities.
The children have been creating a messy map of the United Kingdom, they used different shades of green for the four countries.
The children have been comparing the size of a town, county, country, continent and the world.
The children used a variety of maps of the world to locate the United Kingdom and other countries that they knew. They used an atlas, large floor maps and globes.
