As part of our maths lesson we have been learning about place value. We went outside to represent numbers with ten sticks and ones using chalk.
This week we have been learning about one more and one less. To support our learning we have been using cubes and even managed to get outside and use the 100 square.
We have been exploring measure using lolly pop sticks, cones, bean bags and our handspan to measure the height of our partners.
We have been using a variety of items to support our addition and subtraction work. All the children enjoy going outside to use the part-part-whole model.
