Autumn 1
We attempted our first 'Independent Write' on Friday (1.10.21). We have worked really hard over the last few weeks learning all about 'Harry the happy mouse' and his adventures. We choose a new main character for our simple story and changed which animal he/she met whilst strolling through the countryside. We came up with some fantastic 'problems' and 'resolutions'. I am so proud of the children!
We have been busy innovating the story of 'Harry the happy mouse'. We used a story map to help us plan out our story then we practised orally retellling it to one another.
